    Features
    1. Oil resistance, solvent resistance and chemical resistance
    Compared with methyl vinyl silicone rubber, fluorine silicone rubber has excellent oil resistance, solvent resistance and chemical resistance; Even compared with fluorine rubber, oil and solvent resistance is good. In the same medium, temperature, time after impregnation has shown excellent durability, it can be said that fluorosilicone rubber is the only kind of elastomer resistant to non-polar media at -68℃ ~ 232℃. The resistance of fluorine silicone rubber to methanol containing gasoline is also better, even in the gasoline/methanol mixed system, the hardness, tensile strength, volume change of the vulcanized rubber are very small, after a long time of 500h impregnation test, the physical properties are almost no change.
    2. Heat resistance
    The high temperature decomposition of fluorosilicone rubber is the same as that of silicone rubber, namely: side chain oxidation, main chain breakage, side chain thermal decomposition and various composite reactions. Because the decomposition products will also cause backbone fracture, so the heat resistance is usually worse than silicone rubber, at the temperature of 200℃ has begun oxidative aging. However, it can be significantly improved by adding a small amount of heat stabilizer such as iron, titanium and rare earth oxides, and it has sufficient heat resistance even at a high temperature of 250℃. The effect of temperature on fluorine silicone rubber is greater than that of silicone rubber, but smaller than that of fluorine rubber. The service life of fluorine silicone rubber at 150℃×2000h, 175℃×5000h, 200℃×4000h was also studied abroad, and the result was second only to methyl vinyl silicone rubber.
    3. Cold tolerance
    Fluorine silicone rubber and ordinary silicone rubber, low temperature performance is good. Fluorosilicone rubber is a linear polymer composed of soft Si-O as the main chain, so the low temperature characteristics are better than C-C fluororubber as the main chain. Among them, fluorine silicone rubber (LS-2370U) has better low temperature characteristics, and the brittle temperature is as low as -89℃, while the general fluorine rubber is about -30℃.
    4. Electrical performance, radiation resistance
    The electrical properties of fluorine silicone rubber are similar to those of ordinary silicone rubber, but the special value is that the changes are very small under harsh conditions such as high temperature, low temperature, humidity, oil, solvent, chemicals, ozone and so on. The radiation resistance of fluorosilicone rubber is not outstanding, but the radiation aging resistance of fluorosilicone rubber is better than that of methyl vinyl silicone rubber.
    5. Physical and mechanical properties
    Fluorosilicone rubber and ordinary silicone rubber, vulcanized rubber mechanical strength (especially tear strength) is relatively low. Therefore, improving and enhancing the strength of fluorosilicone rubber is also an important research topic.
    6. Other features
    The weathering resistance of fluorosilicone rubber is very good, even after 5 years of exposure, it still has good properties. Ozone is one of the most produced gases when elastomer is aging, but no cracking or cracking phenomenon was found in fluorosilicone rubber after dynamic or static tests. In addition, fluorine silicone rubber mildew resistance, physiological inertia, anticoagulation is also very good.
